Chicken tikka

For a home preparation, making chicken tikka recipe in an oven is convenient, the way I made them here. If the chicken tikka is made to enjoy as an appetizer, we use gram flour / besan and if the tikka is made to prepare a chicken tikka masala gravy, then gram flour should not be used since it alters the taste of the gravy entirely.

Preparation
Add curd, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and all other spice powders to a plate and mix well and then add oil to the marinade Add the chicken that is drained completely. Mix everything well. Set this aside for at least an hour to over night in the fridgeWhen you are about to grill them, soak the skewers for 30 minutes in water to prevent burning. Preheat the oven to 240 C. Set aside the chicken removing excess marinade Skew them alternately chicken , onion and capsicum. Next grill this for about 20 to 30 minutes. And you are ready with your chicken.

There’s always a good variety of tikka from north to south of india.

Broccoli soup🍜

When your parents aren’t at home and all you want to do is eat and fill your tummy and you open the refrigerator and see broccoli and all vegetables, the first thought that comes to your mind is how am i supposed to enjoy eating veggies.

We all love soup,dont we?

You can prepare chicken soup or vegetable soup and specially in winters. Its nice to fill your stomach with something warm.

But i love soup with the beef bone broth. Not only does the broth increase your metabolism it also gives you energy and broccoli(king of vegetables according to my mom) has a lot of health benefits.

So you are going to loose weight and also remain fit and healthy.

You just need few ingredients and that is broccoli,bone beef broth,potatoes, onion,carrot and olive oil, white pepper and thyme.

Get a soup pot and pour olive oil and keep it on low flame for 2 to 3 mins.add all the vegetables and again keep it for another 4 mins add bone broth and keep the flame high now and keep it for around 7-10 mins. You can also add white pepper or thyme for garnishing.

And dont forget to add cheeselings if you are a cheese lover.

Baked chicken🍗

Who doesnt love chicken?

I love chicken when its cooked well and juicy inside.

Baked chicken is one of my favourite food to have for dinner. For the first time i tried it in a restaurant nearby and it was so good. I tried figuring out what was actually used in it but that time i had no passion in cooking maybe a good chef would know whats in it. Its no big deal to make it, so we just need olive oil,garlic(pressed), chilly powder, garlic powder,salt and ground pepper to taste and 2 chicken wings(depends on you how you want to eat)

Preheat the oven at 190°C and place your chicken in. It takes about 1 hour or more depending on your oven.

And your done with your tasty yummy chicken and you can also marinate the chicken and keep it for few hours.

Banana pancakes🍌🍌

Do you want to surprise your loved ones by serving them warm scrumptious bananna pancakes then maybe you are in the right place.

Banana pancakes is our family favourite breakfast these pancakes are not only fluffy but also tasty and rich in fibre and they also have antioxidants thats is vitamin E And C.

Not only they will fill your stomach but they will bring a smile to everyone’s face.

To prepare this you need

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon

    vanilla extract

  • ½ cup quick-cook oats (70 g)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Preparation
  1. Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth. Mix in eggs and vanilla until well combined, then mix in oats and cinnamon.
  2. Heat a skillet to medium and add in a scoop* of the pancake batter. Smooth out to form an even layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until you start to see bubbles releasing from the top of the batter. Flip and cook until the other side is golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. You can add your favourite topping like chips or honey but i prefer eating it without any topping
  4. And make sure your coffee is ready so you can enjoy it together😚

And keep extra batter ready because after eating them they would want more😏

Pink velvet cupcakes

So if this valentine you are single and there is no one to gift you such scrumptious cup cakes then you are at the right place.

So my dad had bought some of these delicious cup cakes last year and they were so tasty. They were irresistible.

So this summer holidays, why not try baking some☺☺

So lets start now

Remember, Valentine’s Day is just another day to take time from our busy schedules to express our love for those people in our lives that are worth loving. And hope that we will remember to keep loving them all year long.

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE CUPCAKES:

  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2-3 drops pink food coloring
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup buttermilk, room temperature
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • The frosting used was readymade

For the Cupcakes

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line cupcake tins with liners and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy on medium speed, about 3 minutes. Beat in the food coloring. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well before each addition. Scrape bowl as needed. Beat in the vanilla extract.
  4. Reduce the speed to low and slowly alternate the dry ingredients with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. In a separate small bowl, combine the baking soda and vinegar. It will fizzle. Mix into the batter until combined.
  5. Divide batter into prepared baking liners. Bake for 12 – 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

This is actually the second time i tried making them since the first time i added too much food colour and it turned out red.
